The program allows to perform missions across the Chinese territory. Since the implementation of this program in May 2008, 12 specific missions, each targeted on a single theme, have been scheduled. Many results have come crown these missions with the start of more than 5 R&D projects that have received support from the office for the funding of a postdoctoral fellowship or a young engineer. Many missions have benefited from a joint effort between the scientific department of the office, the network Ubifrance, permanent offices of Regional Councils and representatives of clusters based in China.
The program “COOPOL Innovation” enjoys strong support from the center TORCH (Agency Trust of the MOST that have the management of technology parks of China), administrative committees of Chinese science parks and Commissions Science and Technology of cities visited for identification of potential partners for the French missionaries in China.
Candidates also have the opportunity to complete the R&D program through a process of exploration of the Chinese market, using the services of Ubifrance China, described below. They may in this perspective ask for a public support device called INNOVEX, whose terms and conditions of access are listed on the site Ubifrance below. http://www.ubifrance.fr/prestations/aides-al-export/innovex.html.
Terms and conditions of participation 2011
Any innovative SMEs that belongs to a French cluster or technology park and that is accompanied with its major academic research partner is eligible to apply. The delegations welcomed on this occasion (care of trip for two to six days for each mission) will naturally be larger (especially through the participation of members of the governance of clusters and technology parks). This participation is, in our experience, very recommended. However, the movement of these additional participants will not be supported by the program.
Successful projects should present a focused thematic objective. All technology areas are concerned. This program is not intended to support missions across themes that have shown their limits (one mission, a theme).
A final report of expertise is required not later than two months after the end of the mission.
The application must include:
- CV in English of the French participants
- The description in English of the cluster represented
- A letter of support from the President of the cluster or the technological park indicating interest in the project in the context of international politics of development
- The attached application form of the completed project (in French)
- The technology information attached form (in English)
- A brochure presenting the company (in English)
- A brochure presenting the laboratory or research center (in English)
Follow-up of the program “COOPOL Innovation”
