Eligible Organisations
> Researchers and experts from at least five COST countries working in certain fields.
Eligible actions
> COST does not fund research but supports the networking activities such as meetings, conferences, short-term scientific trade and outreach activities to work towards achieving the European research space.
> COST concerns actions proposals contributing to the scientific, technological, economic, cultural and societal development of Europe. Proposals playing a precursor role for other European programs and/or proposals from early career researchers are particularly welcome.
> Activities, nine major areas:
- Biomedicine and molecular biosciences;
- Molecular chemistry, sciences and technologies;
- Earth system science and environmental management;
- Food and agriculture;
- Forests, forest products and services;
- Individuals, society, culture and health;
- Information technology and telecommunications;
- Materials, physical and nanosciences;
-Transportation and urbanization
Remark: interdisciplinary proposals that fit hardly within a single area are particularly welcome.
The developed measures will have to show a new activity regarding already undertaken actions in the framework of COST.
