Development and International Director   

Isabelle Scarabin coordinated and provided support in preparing Lyonbiopôle's candidacy for competitive cluster status, from the project's very inception in July 2004. She later assumed responsibility for coordinating the cluster's activities, leadership and communication. She was also involved in the project while serving as a Life Sciences Project Manager at Greater Lyon's Economic and International Affairs Division, a position she held starting in 2002 that involved managing several economic projects.

Prior to this experience, Isabelle had worked for three years at an innovation consulting firm, where she conducted monitoring studies and market studies, set up public and private R&D programs and more. She then went on to work for one year at Pasteur Mérieux MSD (today sanofi Pasteur MSD), where she was involved in project management for launching new vaccines and strategic marketing.


Isabelle Scarabin  joined the Lyonbiopôle management team in October 2006. She is in charge of the cluster's animation and coordination.

Now, she is responsible for the corporate development of Lyonbiopole program offerings and for its international. It includes for example support to the development of SMEs to set up international technological partnerships, international promotion and R&D seminars organization.

 

Isabelle's educational background features dual expertise: she holds a degree in Biochemical Engineering from the Lyon National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) and a Master's in Technology Management from the EM Lyon School of Management.
