« Lyonbiopole has gradually become an important resource center for my research group at the Structural Biology Institute of Grenoble. Our work in molecular infectious diseases has benefited from contacts made at Lyonbiopole’s Partnering Days with the physicians and industrial leaders from the region in order to set up new projects. The cluster has also played a role in organizing a mission as part of the Coopol France-China program via the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We quickly initiated academic projects and programs on diagnosing pneumococcal infections with Chinese universities and companies met during this mission. In short, Lyonbiopole boosts our work in fundamental and applied infectious diseases both locally and globally! »
