Charles Mérieux Campus

In 2013, the Infectious Diseases Center will be fully located within the Campus Charles Mérieux which aims to provide a unique global site in terms of skills and scientific critical mass, particularly in the field of viral infection, able to compete with the best biosciences research centers worldwide.

The following partners will join this project alongside the Lyonbiopole Infectious Diseases Center: INSERM, the Foundation for Innovative Infectious Diseases (FINOVI), Institute of Functional Genomics (IGF), the French national institute for research in computer science and control (INRIA).

> 1,000 researchers and related staff in the field of infectious diseases

> € 50.25 M in overall real estate investment for the years 2007- 2013, financed by the French State and local authorities, including the Rhône-Alpes Region, the Rhône County Council and Greater Lyon.
