The Infectious Disease Center, in its first stage, is manage by François MARTIN, assisted by a technician and a laboratory.
It offers :

- 2 biosafety level 2 laboratory
- 1 dust free laboratory
- 1 standrad laboratory

> 1 biosafety level 3 platform comprising 3 biosafety level 3 and 2 biosafety level 2 laboratories which research teams can reserve, on demand, when needed

Each team / project hosted in the Infectious Disease Center is independent and can benefit from advice of Lyonbiopole’s governance and Technical Group, comprising high level researchers entitled to evaluate project accreditation requests. Lyonbiopole’s governance ensures that the research topics explored at the Infectious Disease Center are consistent with the aims of the cluster.
